Hi hema,

Got to read your YN Mellinam yesterday. Sat up till 1 am to finish the book. Your Sarayu is still haunting me. I have read all your books thru kindle. Your writing style is amazing. The minute I see a new book from you while searching thru kindle titles I will be like ,so happy no words to describe it.

You have a very realistic style of looking at and exploring people and situations.  Your stories with their underlying sense of humour keeps me smiling while reading and stays with me for a couple of days. I am an avid reader and been reading, may be since I was 10. Many stories touch your heart but this is the first time I am writing directly to a writer. after reading ஈரம் I nearly wrote a mail to u but got caught up in my everyday humdrum and couldn’t do it. But today the story is still in my head and made me write thi to you. Generally I don’t read short stories much bcos I like to stay in a book for sometime live with the characters etc but your short story books broke that. It haunted me for days together.
Your characters are out of real life, at times they remind you of your experiences and c circumstances and touches a chord in you

The way Sarayu realises that unless you draw a line, people will keep walking all over your life is an enlightenment all women get at some point in life and the way you have treated it is amazing. All your heroines are close to my heart. Not only me my 75 yr old mother is a big fan of yours.

The way you incorporate the food element in your stories add to the realistic value.
Simple meals and their recipes meld with the flow of the story and satisfies our appetite. Also your description of places is too good. I Lived in Salt Lake City for a few hours thru your book  while reading ayiram jannal Manadu.
I have read all your books and all of them are my favourites. I have read everything more than once.

Praying to god to bless you with the best of health and fill your life with peace and happiness so that you keep entertaining us.

---
Of course you people do it as a passion but with our other duties at home and outside it must be taking a toll.

But rest assured your stories are a great stress buster for readers like me. Even if I m reading Kadhal cafe or pattampoochi para para for the third or fourth time it puts you back in a good mood ready to take on anything in life. You are giving people like us a great gift. Especially during the current situation where books are the only means for me to take a break from work at home and office.

As I mentioned earlier God will give you the energy and strength to keep writing and entertaining us.

Very happy and touched to hear from you.
